Based on the Machining process and Performance requirements, determine the key properties of the polypropylene resin are tensile strength and elongation at break. The way to improve the product’s tensile strength is to raise its Relative molecular weight and improved molecular chain structure moderately. Through the study on the character of stretching, knew the necking’s occurrence and expansion is the key of the PP geogrid’s continuous production. When polypropylene’s stress-deformation curve at the rising part, the product can be stretched continuously. Research shows that Polypropylene’s inner structure/crystalline state and properties stability are the influence factors to the geogrid’s stretching.Found the best polymerization and pellet process parameters for the production of special homo-polypropylene which has low melt index named T1701、T1702. Through the experimental study, find the optimum formulation of additives. Performance index of this special resin for Biaxial stretching geogrid meet the technical requirements, Reached a similar foreign products quality level。Through the structure analysis and performance study on the special resin for geogrid. we found the special resin for biaxid stretching geogrid named T1701/T1702have such characteristic:low liquidity/high strength/High modulus/low Elongation at yield and etc; all exhibits high strength and the stiffness effect, and can reduce the elastic deformation of the geogrid products quality; relative molecular mass distribution is wide; melting temperature and crystallization temperature uniformity is better than the import samples under the same test conditions; rheological behavior is similar with the import product; and the special resin has a reasonable structure design and excellent mechanical properties o...
