Based on the analyses of visualization and calculation model applied to mine safety, a Visual System of Mine Safety Based on Internet is brought forward in this paper in an effort to fit the actuality and requirement of mines. The system is designed to work on the computer network and is a vent safe management platform.In the progress of forming model of the system, we used OOP, COM and the computer graphics technology and detailedly introduced how to use MFC socket to program network application. At last a system combined with client workstation, browser and server is founded. In the system the safety information of a mine can be shared in the Internet.In a comparison with others, the system presents the following advantages. The system is especially designed for mines, so which is quite fit for the mine enterprise. By using network technology the safety information can be shared in the scope of Internet. In addition to ventilation simulation, the system can convert the ventilation system drawing of single line to double line system drawing and to ventilation network. At the same time, the system can work with the mine control and monitoring system to show the real time data.
