The JJ160/41-K type derrick is one of K type derrick adapted to the district of Daqing. It is developed by Oil well drilling Technology and Service Company of Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau. Mechanical Factory, And it has been used widely in Daqing Oil Field in recent years. Because only static intensity and stability analysis is considered and dynamic calculation is usually neglected in design, the problems like heavy vibration and local weak rigidity have appeared. Especially in these two years, with the increasing need of drilling and exploration besides Daqing Oil Field, much attention is paid on the problems of intensity, dynamic stability and carrying capacity, which need to be theoretically solved. This thesis takes derrick JJ160/41-K as example and puts forward an evaluation method by structure dynamics characteristic analysis and locale test. It can better reflect the mechanical performance of any part of derrick under varying load and carry out the safety evaluation for derrick scientifically. The analysis of dynamic characteristic for derrick has been mainly done with I-DEAS software, by adopting three dimensional beam element as the basis element for FEM analysis and analyzing numerical derrick structure, the author establishes the computer numerical model to calculate mechanical parameters such as displacement, stress, mode and stability. In addition, the author establishes an optimization model of beam section's geometrical dimension to analyze the influence of different loads on structure frequency and the influence of rust and initial winding on carrying capacity. Besides, the locale tests are carried out, and the carrying capacity for the derrick are evaluated based on the DASP software analysis platform and computer emulation.
