Oil drilling derricks are important constitutes of oil industry equipments, it belong to large bearing structure., take an important effect on oil production. At present, many analyses and calculation are about the whole carrying capacity, not calculating the intensity of poles in rising process. To the whole rising and setting derricks, it bears bending load resulting by gravity in the rising and setting process. Derrick bears static and dynamic load in normal situation, at the same time it also bear natural winding load which are all have an certain effect on intensity and stability of derricks. In order to assure the safety of derrick structure during rising and setting process, assure the drilling process working correctly and the safety of workers, The derrick structure's security must be analyzed at every situation. In this thesis, through analysing the rising and setting process, supposing derricks take balanced load in rising process, set up analyzed model with rising pull in rising process, calculate rising pull of different angles. Set the finite element model of ZJ40/225D by ANSYS, simulate different angles derrick, force rising pull at corresponding angles, analyze stress distributing of derricks poles, and confirm the most dangerous angle and part of derrick in rising process. Analysis the biggest stress distributing in rising process in actual situation, confirm the most dangerous part of derrick in load, compare the result of the actual testing and simulating, and get a conclusion about the security estimate of derrick rising process.In addition, study the carrying capacity of ZJ40/225D in normal situation, set up the emulational model by using ANSYS, force different load on models, get the biggest loading part through analysis, and found that there are linear relationship between the biggest stress and loading, conclusion by this get the limited load of derricks. Modify the emulational models by combining the theory of modifying models and strain and stress data which coming from the actually testing, get the limited load data of derricks, realize the assessing of carrying ability of ZJ40/225D drilling derricks.
