The large-diameter measurement of large workspace in-process is still a worldly difficult problem that has not be solved completely in mechanical industry. In this paper the author proposes Mark Method that is a non-contact on-line measuring method. And Large-Diameter Measuring Apparatus, a kind of portable general measuring instrument, has been developed according to Mark Method. Appraised by experts, the apparatus achieve the demand of measuring workspace of Level IT6.This paper mainly introduces the basic principle of the Large-Diameter Measuring Apparatus, the establishment of its mathematical model and the numerical analysis of its mathematical model, the author analyzes the numerical analysis method of this mathematical model about LDMA, and also discusses its application in LDMA. Using this method of numerical analysis adopted by LDMA, the operation velocity has been improved highly while the operation precision has been attained. The method adopted by author in this paper use for reference to the mathematical model of the other system.The author mainly analyzes the error of LDMA include the cause of formation, the class, the test method and avoid method about system and random error. Based the principle of the theory serving for the practice, the author analyzes the error of LDMA' s measuring result, and then, proposes the method of removing the system error and the theory estimate.In the last, the author applies the four methods to remove the bad value. And then, the author put forward the method adopted by LDMA while the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the four methods...
