Study On The Technique And Process Of Elastic Polystyrene Wastewater

The treatment process of elastic polystyrene wastewater was investigated in this paper, the suitable treatment process was determined by experiment in laboratory, the category and amount of neutralization agent and flocculation agent were selected, in special, the removal of total phosphorus from wastewater was studied in detail. The elastic polystyrene wastewater project with 500 ton per day treatment capability was designed and adjusted. The opration results show that the process of Neutralization-flocculation- Hydrolysis acidogenosis-Biological contact oxidation-Removal phosphorus by chemical agent is effective to this wastewater and the COD, TP, SS, NH₂-N can be reduced from 1940mg/L,112mg / L,592 mg / L,23.6mg / L to 70 mg / L,0.38 mg / L, 26 mg / L, 0.32 mg / L by the process respectively, with 96.4%, 99.7%, 95.6%, 98.6% average removal rate respectively, which can meet the national discharge standards.
