In recent years, it has been made great progress in namometer scale science and technology in international field. Adding nanoparticles to traditional materials by elctroless plating can change the properties of the materials, which has been noticed by many researchers. This paper prepares two kind of nanostructured coating by composite elctroless and studies the influence of preparation process on coating. Adding surfactant can improve particle dispersion of nanoparticle in coating, and adding rare earth can increase the rate of preparation process. When the tempreture is 82 ± 2℃, pH is 4.8 ± 0.2 and the concentration of SiC nanoparticles is 1g/L, the densive and smooth Ni-P-SiC nanoparticles composite coating of 16μm thick can be prepared. Adding appropriate surfactant can decrease the aggregation of Ni-P-SiC nanoparticles, increase the dispersion of Ni-P-SiC nanoparticles and the stability of plating solution. Appropriate Y-oxide, which is added to the plating solution, can increase the rate of the preparation and improve the deposition of SiO2 nanoparticles. It also can make the plating solution more stable. This paper also tries to explain the deposition principle of nanoparticles composite electroless plating and dispersive theory of surfactant.
