Chlorination wool is popular with customers, for its machine washability and softness handle. When cuticle is removed after Chlorination, the wool would be shrink-resistant and no prick feeling. Meanwhile, the Chlorination of wool also affects many dyeing behaviors. That is, the dye exhaustion rate will be increased which results in uneven dyeing and the wetting fastness of the anion dyes will be reduced. Traditionally, Acid dyes, chrome dyes and metal-complex dyes are applied to wool. While, for the reason of the lower wet fastness and harm in environment, technicians turn their attention to reactive dyes. At present, some special types of reactive dyes, such as lanasol dyes made in ciba company, are available for the wool dyeing in the market, but they are not widely used for their high price. So it is necessary to choose some dyes from common types for Chlorination wool dyeing. In the thesis, we chose reactive dyes with MCT, MNT, VS, MCT/MCT, MCT/VS groups as samples. Through comparing the exhaustion values, the total fixation efficiency values and the fixation values of those samples with lanasol dyes, we chose some suitable groups dyes from the samples. Through comparing the compatibility behavior of the firstly chosen dyes with lanasol dyes, we chose a group dyes to continue the latter research. After studying the effects of the dyeing auxiliaries on the dyes leveling, fixation values and the improvement of the uneven dyeing caused by the uneven Chlorination on the wool, we chose a suitable agent from them. Then, the effects of the agent dosage and the dyeing temperature on the dyes fixation values, the dyeing time on the color depth of the fabric and the alkalis after-treatment on dyes fixation values have also been studied. After it, we have tested the dyes fastnesses. Finally, we have studied the effects of parameters (pH value, dyeing temperature, dyeing time and agents) on the dyes fixation values by Quadrature Experiment. The results of the experiment showed the total fixation efficiency values and the fixation values of the MCT group dyes were lower than lanasol dyes. The MNT groupdyes were more sensitive to the pH value than lanasol dyes. The compatibility behaviors of the VS, MCT/MCT groups dyes were also worse than the lanasol dyes. Among all the dye samples, the MCT/VS group dyes were the most suitable group dyes for chlorination wool. Among the chemical auxiliaries used in the experiment, ALBEGAL B suited the MCT/VS group dyes to chlorination wool dyeing, which could improve the MCT/VS group dyes fixation values, the uneven dyeing caused by the uneven chlorination on the wool and the dyes penetrate property. From the effect of different dosages of ALBEGAL B on the MCT/VS group dyes fixation values, we could conclude that the suitable dosage of ALBEGAL B was 1-2%. From the effect of dyeing temperature on the MCT/VS group dyes dyeing chlorination wool, the suitable dyeing temperature was 98 癈. Meanwhile, from the experiment, we could arrive a conclusion that the suitable spoiling dyeing time was 60 minutes when the dyes dosages were 2% or 4%. When the MCT/VS group dyes are used on the chlorination wool in the pH value 4 or 5, the alkalis after-treatment not only could remove the un-flxation dyes on the fabric, but also improve the fixation values of the dyes. The dyeing fastnesses of the MCT/VS group dyes were satisfactory, which were equal values with the lanasol dyes. According to the Quadrature Experiment, the effects sequence of fixation value was pH value(No 1), temperature(No 2),time(No 3),agent (No 4).
