Pervapration is considered as a basic unit operation with significant potential for the solution of various environmental and energetic processes. Especially, for separating azeotropic mixtures, closing-boiling point mixtures and isomers, pervaporation is regarded as an effective process. Now, we face and should solve the problems pf environmental pollution and energy crisis that have affect our living and working. As one of the high efficiency and saving energy cleaning product style, it is a good way that pervaporation will be applied in industry greatly. In this paper the blend composed membranes were prepared, and the performance has been studied in the separation of alcohol+water mixtures.In the experiments, the degree of swelling of PVA and SA blended homogeneous membranes has been researched. In the 90wt% isopropanol solution, the membrane's degree of swelling increases with the PVA content in the homogeneous membrane increase. The effect about several crosslinking agents to the membrane separation performance has been studied. Maleic anhydride was been selected from three styles of crosslinking agent, and the effect of crosslinkage has also been researched.In the paper, blend composed membranes with different ratio of PVA and SA have been prepared supported by hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane of Polysufone. The characterization of the blend membranes has been studied in the dehydration of methanol, isopropanol, n-butanol and tert-butanol. The influencing factors of operating temperature, feed concentration, and feed speed rate have been researched.
