NuoZhaDu Hydraulic Power Plant is one of the biggest waterpower project, it will bring great social effect and economic profit on power , irragation and other sides. With the building of the plant, the hydrology and enviroment situation of the reservoir and downstream will will be altered, the rare species of fish living there , the irragation and and drinking water will be influenced greatly. Therefor, it will have a great effect on the environmental protection, the construction and the running of the plant to predict the water quality and temperature of the reservoir and downstream after the construction of the plant. There' re a lot of factors that influence this project and the information are tremendous,model simulations are complicated and the research achievement are rich, so it is necessary to build an advanced and practical water enviromental management system to provide technical support to the water enviromental management of NuoZhaDu reservoir as well as to reveal the research achievement.In this paper , the water quality and temprature prediction and information management system of Nozhadu Hydraulic Power Plant was established afterthe research work done on the geology , hydrology, weather, human, pollution and the nature reserve. The system can be changed and enriched according to the running of the reservoir in addition to summarize the research result. The system employ the open design , the advanced system softwares were picked up to develop the conveniently friendly interface. The system was made up with4 subsystems :the geology information management system established based on GIS, the data base system established to acquire the relative data , the water quality and temperature prediction system established based on model research to display the effect of simulation and prediction directly and vividly as well as the report system which was also edtablished in order to let the user print the report that he need . The system bring each subsyetem together to form an organic body and make it more practical and easier to control.In this paper,the water quality and temprature model of downstream was set up and the prediction of water quality and temprature of downstream in different years were also made. The results were satisfied.
