The problems of PS plate quality and print run have been troubled people for a long time. The targets of this thesis was to find the abrasion rule of PS plate and provided PS plate producing, copying and printing process with technique support. Such a research can provide companies with great profits and push the printing science and technology development advanced. The main research methods include: 1) Based on friction , abrasion and printing theory, the factors influenced the quality of PS plate were deeply researched. 2) For the PS plate grain and light-sensitive coating abrasion, an experiment was designed based on factor design, which ensures the veracity of experiments. 3) Experiment data was measured by exact experiment apparatus and processed by the least squares procedure curve imitating technology. The main works include: 1) The rule of PS plate quality declined have been found by analyzing the friction and abrasion of PS plate. 2) Analyzed the abrasion of grain in printing and found the changing rule of grain abrasion by experiments. 3) Analyzed the abrasionof light-sensitive coating in printing and obtained the curve of light-sensitive coating abrasion, thenimitated the equation. The research have been shown: 1) The reduced of PS plate quality is resulted in different friction damaged PS plate and worn PS plate. 2) Along with the Ra , Ry , Ry reduced, the capability of hydrophilic and restore water of PS plate would be reduced. 3) The dot abrasion rate was opposite to the dot percentage and the dot abrasion quantity direct ratio the circle of the dot. Addition attention should be paid in control the abrasion of the light area and the light-sensitive coating abrasion mainly happens in the edge of dot.
