The actuality and development, synthetic routes of 1,2,4-triazolo [l.5-a]pyrimidine-2-sulfonamides (ALS) inhibitor are reviewed in the paper. And the post-cycling route was studied, two series of l,2,4-triazolo[l,5-a]pyrimidine-2-sulfonamides herbicides weresynthesized by selecting two f3-dicarbonyl compounds and multiplicate substituted aryl amines:I : N-substituted aryl-5,7-dimethyl-l,2,4-triazolo[l,5-a] pyrimidine -2-sulfonamideII: N-substituted aryl-5-methyl-l,2,4-triazolo[l,5-a]pyriniidine -2-sulfonamideThe structures of the final-products were all proved by means ofIR, 1H NMR and element analysis. The herbicidal activity of some compounds was determinated, these screened compounds showed finer herbicidal activity; at the same time, the synthetic methods of important intermediates (5-amino-3-chlorosulfonyl-l,2,4-triazole and N-substituted aryl-5-amino-l,2,4-triazole-3-sulfonamides) were studied, preferable synthetic methods were found , higher yield was obtained.
