The optimization of ironmaking processes in our country is still in a low level. Some factors such as lower productivity, higher energy consumption and irrational process structure are still the main negative influence factors.To solve this problem, it is very necessary to qualify raw material, gradually optimize and establish more reasonable blast furnace burden. With regard to this question, combined with practical situation of blast furnace production and the situation of raw materials in Bayi iron and steel company (BISC), a lot of tests are carried out to meaeure metalurgical properties of different kinds of burden composition, suitable burden for BISC blast furnaces has been analyzed based on the results of tests in this thesis.These will supply theoretical bases for quality improvment of raw materials, finding out irrational burden, intensified smelting process and decreaseing coke ratio, keeping good blast furnace condition and long furnace life.
