In the charge hoisting system of the blast furnace process, the bell-less top charging system with some gear boxes driving the slide trough is in the absolute leading position because of its flexible and multifarious burden distribution control mode, and it is becoming the mainstream equipment which replaces of the two-bells system charging. How to use the advanced automatic control system, give full play to the superiority of the bell-less top blast furnace, strengthen the upper adjustment function, is a subject with realistic significance.On the current level of the technology development, the burden distribution of blast furnace by material weight is an ideal control method. All the blast furnaces of Xinyu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. mainly take the multi-loop burden distribution operation mode. Because of the different charge hoisting by belt conveyer or by skip, the different weighing accuracy of the top tank, the different dumping valves with proportional valve or not and the different operating habits of workers, the control method of blast furnaces is given priority to use the traditional method of the time, the failure rate of top equipment is higher, the stability and the accuracy of the burden distribution control is not high, the production efficiency is low.This paper makes the bell-less top charging system of 11# blast furnace top as the background on the basis of analyzing the process characteristics, system structure and working principle, aiming at the problems such as the stability and the accuracy of burden distribution control using time method is not high, production efficiency is low, and others. Basing on the weight control model method assist by the time method, using pressure compensation with the proportion of top tank weighing device and material flow control valve, there is a design of the automatic control system in 11# blast furnace roof. It realized the system material charging control, pressure control, weighing control, uniform burden distribution control, stock rod control system, hydraulic control and communication control, etc. Using mining, focal curve chart with self-correcting function which can be read and written, the material flow valve opening of the burden distribution can be set automatically calculated according to actual weight. It realizes the blast furnace charging uniformity. Through the control to the material flow valve and tilting angular velocity, it realizes not only the proportion control based on the deviation between the theory and actual angle but also the quick and accurate positioning of the flow valve opening and the tilting angle.Designed one use with a backup for the important equipments on top like tilting angle, rotation angle and material flow valves,it makes sure when the important equipments fail, the blast furnace production progress is not be affect, it supplies a security for production stably of the blast furnace.Related engineering applications show that the burden distribution system based on weight can achieve high yield, high quality, low consumption, extend the service life of blast furnace, make full use of the ability of the advanced equipment, reduce the working intensity of workers.
