Nanoparticles have become one of the quite popular subjects in material research fields owing to their many peculiar properties in optics, acoustics, electricity, magnetics, heat, catalysis, mechanics, chemical activity, etc, and their great potential high technology applied prospects. Inorganic-organic nanometer hybrid materials summarize the characteristics of inorganic material, organic material and nanomaterial, so they have new applications in many fields such as electronics, chemistry, catalyst, mechnics, biochemistry, etc. Molybdenum trioxide which has good light sensitivity is widely used in preparing the photochromic and electrochromic materials. In this dissertation, the hydrosol of MoO3 was prepared by precipitation method. The effect factors on hydrosol were discussed systematically. MoO3 organosol was obtained by using CTAB to modify the nanoparticles in MoO3, hydrosol and n-pentanol to extract MoO3 nanoparticles modified by CTAB. The effect factors on organosol were discussed extensively. MoO3, organsol was mixed with MMA. After polymerization was carried out, nanometer hybrid material MoO3/PMMA was prepared. The prepared samples were deeply investigated by TEM, SEM, ED, XRD, TGA-DTA, UV-VIS, etc.
