The Research And Development Of Three-Demensional Modular Fixture Drawing Base Management System

Along with the application of CAD/CAM technology is widely used in the mechanical, civil engineering, and electro-circuit fields, the management of CAD drawings file cannot meet the request in our country and transforms to an integration model. So the drawing base management system emerges as the times require. It causes the manipulators to break away from the bald digital operation, and to design in the drawing mode. In this way the design efficiency is obviously enhanced. The reasonable establishment and use of drawing base can not only save more time, but also save the disk space and enhance the system speed to the CAD system.AutoCAD has been widely applied to the mechanical drawing, but its management function is very weak. Because of the enormous modular fixture elements, it is very discommodious for the skilled worker to lookup again after they have saved the finished drawings. So it goes against the management of modular fixture elements. In order to draw more quickly and efficiently and alleviate the skilled workers' labour intension, drawing base management system of three-dimensional modular fixture is put forward in this paper.The major research work can be outlined as follows:(1) After making a detailed review on the general situation of the research and development of CAD drawing base management abroad and home, the necessity and feasibility of the development of a universal drawing base management system is pointed out. It is very important for each enterprise and CAD system to establish and use drawing base management system reasonably.(2) Along with the continual development of the modular fixtures, the corresponding adjustment of sorts of elements and combined elements will happen. Considering the expansion of system components, the development of current modular fixture and the management of fixture element, the necessity and feasibility of establishment of a drawing base management system of three-dimensional modular fixture is put forward to manage the elements effectively based on the modular fixture CAD system MFS R5.0.(3) The drawing base management system applied to the 3-D modular fixture is developed. This system secondarily exploited on AutoCAD 2000, based on the developing environment ofObject ARX technique and the VC++ development language. It is combined with engineering practice, perfects the modular fixture CAD system MFS R5.0 and establishes the management mode of three classes menu. And more, it realizes the function and operation of establishment, modification and deletion etc., and accomplishes the management of 3-D fixture drawings. In addition, the going of module of the system is introduced in detail, which consists of the following modules: the establishment module, the modification module, the lookup module and the output module etc. It is simple and effective to develop this drawing base in this way and it supports the three-dimensional modular fixture configuration on micro-computer. As a result, the effect of application is obtained.
