In this dissertation, in the lab, batch equilibration method was used to study adsorption process of ethofumesate. The leaching process was studied by soil thin layer chromatography. The degradation of ethofumesate was studied under controlled condition by room simulating mensuration method. HPLC-CSP was used to resolve and determine ethofumesate enantiomers. The adsorption process of ethofumesate in soils confirmed to Herry adsorption equation. Correlation factors were from 0.908 to 0.993. The average of Koc was 598.92 and ethofumesate belongs to one of weak moving pesticides. In soils; Rf was from 0.120 to 0.161 and ethfumesatte is liable to weak-moving. The result accorded with adsorption result. Ethofumesate degradation in soils followed first order reaction kinetic equation and correction factors were from 0.801 to 0.971. T1/2S of ethofumesate were from 2.85 to 6.96 weeks in soils. The results indicated that adsorption and leaching of ethofumesate were related to OM%. When OM% increased, adsorption increased while leaching decreased. T1/2 was not related to OM%, which indicated that the edegradation process might not be biological but be chemical. Environmental behavior of ethofumesate enantiomers changed after HAs were added to soils at the same time. The results were: adsorption increased, leaching weekened and degradation decreased. In addition, a conclusion was drawn: environselectivity of ethofumesate didn't occur. In the process of adsorption, leaching and degradation, ethofumesate enantiomers didn't show environselectivity.
