A Study Of CAD System And Animation Of Precision-stamping Mold

With the development of computer's technique, the dies CAD has been used more and more widely. The technique of Precision-stamping is a new field of stamping, it can replace machining of planking-part partly or entirely. Because it has high quality, high efficiency and low consuming, so it is used widely in the fields of horologe, instrument, Precision-machine , autocycle and automobile etc. It is very important to study and develop practice-oriented Precision-stamping mold CAD system. This can improve the efficiency and quality of dies CAD, and can propel the popularization and development of dies CAD.In this paper, firstly, the application of computer in the fields of stamping and developing situation of Precision-stamping mould CAD/CAM techniques at home and abroad are introduced briefly; secondly, the basal knowledge of Precision-stamping designing and full-system designing .of Precision-stamping are presented summarily; On the base of this, the development environment of Precision-stamping mold CAD system,and studying and developing of Precision-stamping mold under SolidWorks are introduced in detail, it consists of the implement principles , methods and design criterions of Precision-stamping process CAD, and the establishment of mould structure CAD model, drawing of part, the dimension calculation for the punch edge and the cutting edge and building of assemble and engineering drawing, furthermore an example is given to show the design procedure of Precision-stamping; at the end of the paper, the animation system of process about mould assembling on the platform of SolidWorks Animator is introduced.
