The solidification mechanisms and research conditions of metal matrix composites (MMCs) under additional force fields are analyzed in detail in this thesis. The physical mechanisms and mathematical models of MMCs solidification process are summarized, a multiphase mathematical model for the solidification process of particles reinforced metal matrix composites(PRMMCs) is established during the electromagnatic centrifugal solidification process at the first time.In two-dimensional cylindrical coordinate, the volumetric distribution of SiC particles are modeled in a given SiCp/Al matrix composites during the electromagnatic centrifugal solidification process , and the associated initialization conditions and boundary conditions are analyzed.Using the all-purpose finite element analysis software---ANSYS software, based on 2-D cylindrical coordinate, numerical model of the temperature field distribution in a given SiCp/Al matrix composites is established during centrifugal solidification process. The simulation results indicate that the preheating temperature of mould and the pouring temperature of the casting have larger influence on temperature distribution , the rotating speed and mould species are in the second place . According to the temperature simulation results , the final distribution of SiC particles is calculated in thesis , and the calculated result is the same as the actual experiment before. The numerical simulation about velocity field, pressure field, temperature field distribution and calculation of the final distribution of SiC particles are performed during the centrifugal casting, which is beneficial to the solving of reinforced particles distribution in the process of electromagnatic centrifugal casting, it is also beneficial to realizing the further industry application of PRMMCs in the process of electromagnatic centrifugal casting and designing of material solidification processing.
