The new furnace tube centrifugal casting machine designed by ECUST mechanical design and tribology research division and Shanghai Zhuoran engineering Ltd. Co. possibly will solved the uneven thickness defect in traditional tube-type casting due to vibration. However, there is a large amount of heat in its supporting part since the large quality of cylinder mold and the high speed of rolling bearing. It is possible to affect the normal operation of the centrifugal casting machine. So it is important to calculate the supporting part heat generation and temperature of the new furnace tube centrifugal casting machine when carrying out the design work.The research contents of this thesis include the following parts. The overall structure and installation process and works of the new centrifugal casting equipment are studied. The main structure of the supporting part and the working principle of the supporting bearings are analyzed. The radial load of each supporting bearing is obtained. A new calculation model is established with preload and without preload. It can be used to calculate the internal load distribution and deformation of the supporting bearing in new centrifugal casting equipment. According to the model, the change between the distribution of load and maximum contact load and bearing pretension and axial preload amount with the axial preload can be calculated accurately. A new calculation model is established to calculate the heat generation of the bearing. The heating characteristic of each supporting bearing is calculated. The distribution of the heating and the change between the total heat with the speed rate and the radial load and axial preload of the bearing are obtained. A transient thermal analysis model is established on the basis of resistance network. The change between the temperature with the speed rate and the radial load and axial preload of the supporting bearing are obtained.The results can be used for evaluating the working performance of the supporting bearing of the new centrifugal casting equipment. It can also provide a theoretical basis for the optimizing the design of the new centrifugal casting equipment.
