Based on the electrostatic precipitator's distributed control system, the ESP intellective management software was developed. By utilizing and modifying the system parameters of high-voltage equipments and low-voltage equipments, the real-time monitor could be achieved. The expert knowledge base was established by using the engendering-style knowledge illustration and absorbing the system knowledge of the expert and ESP personnel. The ESP faults diagnosis could be achieved by combining forward inference mechanism and the context of the knowledge base. Based on the outlet dust turbidity and by changing the value of the high-voltage parameters, closed loop control could be achieved to realize the energy management. The efficiency of the ESP affected by coal category and the boiler's running condition was forecasted.
