The thesis describes the harmfulness of the spontaneous combustion in large-dimension gob. The other propose the fire extinction scheme on the basis of accurately determining the position of fire source reasonably and scientifically, and makes discussion on the mechanism of coal spontaneous combustion and its affected factor, combined with the characteristic of fire disaster. The advantages and disadvantages of traditional fire source detecting method and Radon isotope detecting method are introduced in the thesis.In the thesis, the principle and technique of fire extinguish isexplored and emphasized, the research on the nature of new type compound coal powder land cement grouting material mixture is performed. By applying orthogonal test into the measurement of the property of coal powder and cement grout mixture, the optimal ratio of grouting elements is obtained.With the application of radon isotope detecting method, the position of gob fire source at No.38 coal mine of Jingcheng City was successfully detected. Scheme was put forward and new type of compound coal powder and cement grouting mixture material was used. Practice has proved that this new gob fire extinguish method has the advantage of small investment, little risk, short time of appliance and highly beneficial. The technology is advanced in the whole country and has the applicable value for the disaster prevention in ShanXi and the whole country.
