By means of biological engineering technology, from some unspinnable protein fibres and waste protein materials, extracting protein solution, which mixed with regenerated colloidal solution under given condition, and then using wet spinning, the new regenerated protein fibre was obtained.In this paper, the composition and structure of protein fibre, such as wool, hog hair, and so on, were stated. The preparation of protein solution, fibre-forming mechanism and producing process of the regenerated protein fibres were investigated. Meanwhile, structure and properties of this new fibre as well as their relations were studied.The regenerated protein fibre possesses excellent properties. Its source of raw materials is unlimited. Because of its degradability and the reapplication of waste, the fibre has a big market potential.This research result has passed expert assessment and evaluation organized by Shaoxing bureau of science and technology, this invention fills in gap in this field and has been given the national patent. Now it is being popularized.
