The resource of bamboo is abundant in China, and the regeneration of bamboo is very strong. It grows up rapidly, and become a useful material quickly, once plant, long used is one of the great properties of bamboo, so there is a great possibility of the exploitation of bamboo. As always said, bamboo can make people feel cool and comfortable. And thus, the exploitation of bamboo will accord with the world's textile current, adapt well to people's require for enjoying of life.But now, the application in textiles of bamboo fiber is still simplex. In order to improve the utility and development level of bamboo pulp fiber, this essay studied the basic physical properties of bamboo pulp fiber by contrast bamboo pulp fiber with viscose staple fiber, the theory and practice of wet permeability as well as wearing characteristics of pure raw fabrics and blended spinning fabrics with bamboo pulp fiber. My researching paper is focused on the following parts:1. Compared the bamboo pulp fiber with the viscose fiber in the tensile property, viscoelasticity, contract nature to heat of bamboo fiber. Resulting a lower tensile property, a longer relaxation time and a better heat-shrinkable character from the rayon staple fiber.2. Identifying the bamboo pulp fiber from the rayon staple fiber through the methods of observing the fiber micro structure, measuring the lignin content and inspecting the infrared spectrum. And resulting a useful and effective means to identify the two fibers.At first, according to the electronic microscope scan, bamboo pulp fiber is vertical straight and has no torsion, and has thin and close vertical paralleled groove; viscose fiber has slight torsion and crack and also has lots of vertical paralleled groove; Different from the skin-core structure of the viscose fiber, the bamboo pulp fiber has tiny holes in its section, whichmade it easier to go into the fiber.On the second, the component analysis showed that the lignine content of viscose fiber is very low while the lignine in bamboo pulp fiber is comparatively high and unevenly distributed.At last, infrared spectrum analysis showed that the absorption on -OH base group of bamboo pulp fiber is obviously feebler than that of viscose fiber.3. Constructing the regression equation of moisture liberation and absorption of the bamboo pulp fiber and fabrics, bringing forward the model for the instantaneous velocity in the moisture liberation and absorption process; analyzing the linear correlation between the moisture permeability and temperature, building a grey forecast model of moisture vapor transmission through the bamboo pulp fiber fabrics. Indicating that the bamboo pulp fiber is good at wet absorption and moisture vapor transmission (close to Tencel, just inferior to cotton).4. The wicking height declines while the twist increases and fineness of the yarn decreases. The rank of the wicking property, bamboo pulp >Tencel > Cotton.5. The solid surface energy of the fabrics is small, which including pure raw fabrics and blended spinning fabrics with bamboo pulp fiber. And the original wetting contact angle declines to zero bit by bit. So we can reduce the original contact angle of the fabric surface by blending with bamboo pulp fiber.6. Constructing premium composite grey element model and obtaining the solution of premium degree to evaluating the hand of the pure raw fabrics and the blended spinning fabrics with bamboo pulp fiber.Many researches have been studied on regenerated cellulose fiber such as regenerated cellulose rayon and Tencel at home and abroad. Some papers have been published out. But, systemic researches have seldom been madeabout bamboo pulp fiber in textile field. So this research has high value in academic. At the same time, one of the greatest problem from the development, which is about the identification of bamboo pulp fiber and viscose staple fiber, has been solved.
