Therefore this paper takes garment fast quotation system as research subject.The garment fast quotation system is used to calculate the cost of garments and other cost quickly, which is suitable for foreign trade company and processing enterprises. The research of this topic is carried out on the basic of the investigation and analysis for the fabric market inorder to establish an intelligent system that can calculate every cost of garments.This paper takes costs as research object during garment trade and elaborate basic procedure, the meaning of fast quotation system, pricing policy of garments and so on. At the same time this paper tries to establish a set of theoretical rule that is used to calculate material consumption so as to form model frame of quotation system.On the research foundation of related theory, mathematics model of estimating quotation price is established and programmed by VB, which makes fast quotation come true. Garments fast quotation system is composed of costing modular, material database modular, reference pricemodular, form modular and system intro modular. By the use of this system, user can calculate quotation price of garment quickly. The system has also offered network function and the database can be updated at any time, which makes quotation price becpme more competitive.The research result of this paper can help garment enterprises and foreign trade companies check cost accurately, which can increase transparence of quotation and be helpful to establish an open, fair, just price system. The research of this program is also a try of applying computer technology to garment industry, and attempts to prove that information technology has become competitive focus nowadays. Its conclusion and accomplishment have certain advancedness and practicality.
