The organosilicon family is considered as one of the new materials that can meet the needs of era and are with the fastest development. Its application covers the national defence, the national economy, people's daily life, the medical treatment and the health protection. Organochlorosilane is the base of the whole organic silicon chemistry. Most of the silicon polymers are polydimethylsiloxanes, which come from hydrolysis of Dimethyldichlorosilane. With other molecules imported, such as phenyl, ethylene, chlorophenyl, cyanalkyls, fluoslkyls, and so on, a series of polymers of organosillicon with different functions can be derived from it. So the development of organosilicon industry depends on synthesize technology of organochiorosilanes (especially for methylchlorosilane) mainly. The consumption of methyl chloride which is the main raw materials for synthesizing methylchlorosilanes is about forty percent of cost of methylchlorosilanes. The economical scale of manufacture devices for chloromethane is one of the critical techniques to restrict the development of the national organosilicon industry.Focusing on improvement of the technology of Methyl Chloride production, concerned with research on Methyl Chloride synthesis process in our company, by searching literature, building technology scheme of each production step, erecting math model, calculating material-equilibrium and heating-equilibrium and designing primary equipments, the optimal technique flow, controlling scheme and technology parameters of production devices have been obtained. Our study has been applied on shop drawing design and equipments purchasing. Now Zhe Jiang Xin'an Chemical Corporation has founded a set of lOOOt/a manufacture device to produce methyl chloride with Hydrochloric Acid, the byproduct of monoorganosilicon production. Its capacity and consumption of materials and power reaches the advanced level within the country. It proves that the math model erected in this thesis is feasible and effective.
