This paper introduces a kind of wet metallurgical processing, which about a kind of way that using waste hydrochloric acid leaches low grade rhodochrosite prepared. This technology can solve the problem that how to use the low grade rhodochrosite effectively, and at the same time solving reutilization problem of the waste hydrochloric acid. The mainly part in the paper is researching of leaching. The process flow has much advantage such as reusing the low grade rhodochrosite, recycling the waste hydrochloric. Using psilomelane as oxidizer made better use of Mn mine. Controlling the reaction end pH eliminated iron in leaching. Mn powder is applicated substitution flow. It can not only save money but also increase manganese sulfate's purity. Using oxalic acid in two stage flow eliminated Ca and Mg. It can get calcium oxalate as byproduct. So the method is better than traditional technics. In leaching experiment, we explored which kind of oxidizer using in leaching and amount of it, pH of reaction and end, time, temperature, l/s, amount of acid's influence to Mn leaching ratio. And we used normal experiments to study, temperature, time, l/s' effect (main factors) to leaching result. We got optimal condition: leaching time is 60min, temperature is 80℃, l/s is 2.5:1, ratio of actual acid consumption and theoretical acid consumption is 1.3, leaching pH is 0.5~1.0, reaction end pH is 4.0~5.0. The production Manganese Chloride Tetrahydrate can be meet the profession standard requirements.
