To calculate movement and distortion of earth's surface is essential contents when mining under building, water and railways. The development of surface movement prediction system is beneficial to its universality with its visualization and fast characteristics, and provided a powerful tool for project design of coal mining under building, water and railways. The paper discusses the base method for organizing the data based on object-oriented and visible interface programming technology in mining subsidence predict software programmed with MFC, And designed the data structure of dots class, edges class, triangles class and workface class with this method. We also give the data members and function members in the class structures.Aimed at mining subsidence predict software not on borrowing terms with interface, not easy to use, and difficult to master, which developed under DOS. A method to program the graphic function of mining subsidence predict software with mixed languages and technique of using VC++ and OpenGL is given. OpenGL is set of 3D graphics and 3D sculpt application procedure interface. Because of having powerful graphics function, OpenGL has become the industry standard of 3D application program interface and independent with OS. Realized the graphics functions of surface movement prediction system with OpenGL in the paper. For instance, (1) mountain terrain map: displaying the terrain and topography, is 3D emulation of earth's surface, is convenient for customer to look into the physiognomy, and check the data of input; (2) contradistinguish map of mine well: displaying opposite position relation of the earth's surface and workface, user can analysis surface movement and distortion value at every positions of the workface with the map; (3) 3D prediction model: displaying workface, survey dots, survey lines, terrain, movement and distortion in a same map with 3D graphics, revealing the relations of every elements' position; (4) isoline graphics: displaying the value of height, subsidence, incline, movement and distortion with different colors, and giving the value of every color at the side of the map; (5) color cloud diagram: revealing every targets with colors, coloring every point in the map with the color corresponding the value of height, subsidence, incline, movement and distortion and form transitional color in color cloud diagram. Expatiated the realization of every kind of functions and methods made with technique in a specific way.According to the data that surveyed, got parameters for earth's surface subsidence prediction. With surface movement prediction system, predicted the values of movements and distortions above 3012 workface in TieShanNan coal mine, and contrast predicted values to measured values.
