The natural nano-rectorites was organised with Dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride (1227). Then, both of clay-modified thermohardening resin based composites were prepared by cast moulding process with E-51 epoxy resin and TDE-85 epoxy resin as basic materials, 1227 as inter calational agent , organic nano-Na+-rectorites as modification agent. Firstly, the different effect of rectorite modification for the mechanical property of E-51 system were compared; the effect of organic clay for the viscosity and Gel-time of pure E-51 epoxy resin were checked separately; the influence of organic clay for hardening process was studied with FTIR technology; And, the infection of organic rectorite content in matrix for the mechanical property thermal-wet tolerance property aging resistance property and medium endure property for the both of two system were studied relatively. The effect of organization for the inter-layer distance of clay was denoted by XRD technology; To probe into the thermodynamics status about reaction, we investigated the heat discharging of reaction system in the help of DSC. The impact and crooking of solidifying system was observed with the SEM to investigate the decentralization of organic clay, and, at the base of this ,we discuss the mechanism of clay toughing-buildup polymer matrix. In the last , we prepared clay-modified composites of fiber glass build - lipping thermo hardening resin matrix.The experiment result demonstrated that the organic clay can shorten the Gel-time of pure epoxy resin in a little scale, but have little infection to its viscosity at the same temperature. The organic rectorite is of more build-upping and toughing function than unorganized rectorite. In the terms of E-51 system, its comprehensive property enhanced with impact strengthstrength, and HDT (Thermal Deformed Temperature ) as the most large scale at the organic recrorite content of 3wt%. And also, as to the TDE-85 system, its mostly high improving scope of impact strength and strength, as well as the organic rectorite content just the very time were, and 2wt%. But, we also found that, with the content of organic clay change from lwt% to 7wt%, both of the water-inhaling rate of two moulding system show themselves as increasing tendency comparative to the oppositional tendency of its property preservation rate after the course of 24h, 48h 72h, 96h and 118h boiling in water. The experiment of exposing to ultraviolet radiation tell us that the ultraviolet resistance property of solidifying resin increased with the improvement of organic clay content , witch demonstrated that clay are of the function of ultraviolet radiation resistance.
