In this paper, the prepared process and extraction of active components of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. were studied.In the prepared process, 1,8- dihydric anthraquinone and 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxystilbene-2- O-3 -D-glucoside were chosen as detected targets, the quality of 4 prepared method, high pressure steamed method, prepared method with beans, prepared method with ginger, prepared method with yellow wine, was compared. It showed that the content of free- anthraquinone of the processed product high pressure steamed without adjuvant (120℃,6 h) was 1.78-1.84 times that of other processed products, the content of 2,3,5,4'- tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-β-D-glucoside was 1.06~1.61 times that of other processed products. It was found that the prepared time obviously affected the content of the active components (F,a=0.05).It was put forward that free- anthraquinone had the period of maximum yield during high pressure processing and the quality standard was emodin for estimating the quality of prepared process for the first time.In the extraction of its active components, normal stirring extraction is often used. In this study, optimal conditions of microwave extraction of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb was concluded that theduration of microwave radiation was 30 s, the diameter of raw material was less than 0.850 mm, the solvent to material ratio was 15, the soaking time was 20 min, the microwave power was 280 w, the extraction times was 2, the solvent concentration was 60% (v/v). And 4 extraction methods, Soxhelt extraction, normal stirring extraction, MAE (microwave assisted extraction), microwave extraction, were compared, the results showed that MAE was best than other methods on preserving active components for the first time.
