The Research And Development On Tube Cold-extrusion CAD System

This thesis is the one of the natural science projects of education committee of Anhui province, which is "the precise forming technology and die design of chain roller". Taking example for the new cold-extrusion forming technology of the chain roller, some research for the cold-extrusion technology CAD system of all sorts of tubes(black metal) has been done in this thesis.To begin with, by analyzing some defects of the old forming technology of the chain roller, a new cold-extrusion forming technology is studied. In view of the advantages of die design of CAD , the thesis studies the cold-extrusion forming technology CAD system of all sorts of tubes(black metal) .Then .all sorts of tubes and the different process schemes of the different tubes are analyzed in detail and the standard databases of this CAD system are established in the thesis. The most advanced programmer language Visual C++ is used to control and to manage these databases. Under the circumstances of AutoCAD2000 that is widely used by a lot of companies at present.some parameters of tubes are pick-uped by using the mutual dialog box and the ObjectARX that is the second development tool of AutoCAD2000. So this CAD system can select automaticly the process schemes of the cold-extrusion of all of tubes and draw automaticly the process schemes and three-dimension drawing.Finally, in the thesis, an example of chain roller is given to validate the feasibility of this CAD system.
