Layered and pillared material are a kind of multifunctional material which were developed in recent years, much attention has been paid to this kind of material for its application in ion-exchange catalysts solid state proton conductivity, nonlinear optics and physic. A lot of literature have reported the intercalation behavior of a-zirconium phosphate(abbreviated as a-ZrP), different guest molecules inserted into a-ZrP have been studied in detail, those guest molecules include amine , alcohok amino acid protein, enzyme coornadiate compound and coronal compound. The intercalation guest is restricted by their size and basicity. Although a lot of researches have been done to a-zirconium phosphate intercalation, the intercalation behavior of zirconium phosphate-phosphonate has been seldom dealt with.Crystal zirconium phosphate-phosphonate has the stability and regulity of interlayer floor of inorganic a-zirconium phosphate, they still have the designability of the organic group in the interlayer and adjustment of the ratio of organic and inorganic phosphorus acid, they are a kind of potential smart material, we can process molecule design and optimize filtration according to the requirement of goal reaction, we can prepare special ion-exchange, catalyst, catalyst supporters nonlinear optics compound, solid state proton conductivity and the intercalation complex precusor by introducing different active organic group or active center into the choice and stable framework of inorganic a-zirconium phosphate.In this paper we describe the synthesis of six derivitives of a-aminomethylphosphonic acids, three of which were synthesized for the first time, the structure of them were characterized by IR spectrum, 1H NMR and 31P NMR spectrum, the structure of proline-N-methylphosphorus acid was discussed.In this paper we reported the synthesis of five zirconium proline-N-mtthy]phosphonate-phosphate of different x value, the structure of them were characterized by IR specirum X-ray diffraction and TG-DSC thermal analysis, it has been found that the samples are highly crystallized with mono phase, the interlaycr distance of zirconium phosphonate-phosphate increase with the increment of x value, when x>l, the interlayer distance increased slightly. The ideal model of x=l of zirconium proline-N-mtthyl phosphonate-phosphate is that organic groups crosslinked with inorganic groups, take up as ABABAB.In this paper we studied the intercalation behavior of a new host matrix of x=l of zirconium proline-N-mtthyl phosphonate-phosphate(a-ZPMPP), we successfully introduced butylamine heptylamine decanylamine ethanolamine diethylenetriamine(2E3A) triethyleneteriamine(3E4A) andtetrathyleneoctamine(4E5A) guest molecules into a-ZPMPP interlayer space. The intercalation complex were characterized by IR spectrum X-ray diffraction and TG-DSC thermal analysis, it has been found that a-ZPMPP possess different intercalation behavior from a-ZrP. Because of the bulk of proline group, it affected the amount of guest molecule, mono-alkylamine form mono-molecule layer in the interlayer space, butylamine, decanylamine and ethanolamine form mono-layer and the carbon chain form 90 degree ordered assembly with the zirconium floor of a-ZPMPP, every host molecule absorbed 0.5 guest molecule. The interlayer distance of Heptylamine intercalation complex is smaller than butylamine intercalation complex. Polyamine molecules formed a bent conformation in the interlayer space of a-ZPMPP and formed several intercalation phases for its muti-active center.In this paper we describe the synthesis of x=0.5 of a-Zirconium benzyl-N,N-dimethylphonphonate-phosphate(a-ZBDMPP) host matrix for the first time , studied the intercalation behavior of a-ZBDMPP to butylamine guest molecule in room temperature. The inorganic -POH made a-ZBDMPP possible to accept guest molecule. a-ZBDMPP has two interlayer distance, it has two crystal phase.
