1. A series of novel poly( aryl ether sulfone ether ketone ketone )s with methyl pendant group was prepared from 2,2 ' -Dimethyl - 4,4 ' -Diphenoxydiphenylsulfone (o-CH3-DPODPS)or 3,3 ' -Dimethyl-4,4 ' -Diphenoxydiphenylsulfone (m-CH3-DP--ODPS) and Terephthaloyl (TPC) or Isophthaloyl (IPC) by electrophilic polycondensation in the presence of N,N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) with anhydrous A1C13 as a catalyst and in 1,2-dichloroethane. Polymers were studied by FT-IR,1H-NMR,DSC,TGA and WAXD etc.The results indicate that the polymers are non-crystalline and have high glass transition temperatures,excellent thermostabilities and good solubilities .2. A series of novel terpolymers were synthesized by using Diphenyl Ether (DPE),3,3 ' -Dimethyl-4,4 ' -Diphenoxydiphenylsulfone(m-CH3-DPODPS) and Terephthaloyl chloride(TPC) in the presence of N,N-Dimethylformaide (DMF),1,2-dichloroethane and aluminum trichloride as a catalyzer under condition of low temperature.Properties of the copolymers were studied by FT-IR,WADX,TGA and DSC .The results shows that the Tg of the copolymers increased with the increasing in m-CH3-DPODPS content, the Tm and crystallinity of the copolymers decreased with increasing in m-CH3-DPODPS content,and the solubility of the copolymer was changed greatly.3. A series of random copolymers composed of polyetherketoneketone(PE--KK) and polyethersufoneetherketoneketone(PESEKK) with methyl pendant were prepared by low temperature solution polycondensation of 2,2' -Dimethyl-4,4' -Diphenoxydiphenylsulfone (o-CH3-DPODPS), diphenylether(DPE) and terephthal--oyl choride(TPC) in 1,2-dichloroethane and in the presence of A1C13 and DMF .The results show that the glass transition temperature of the copolymer increase and themelting temperature and the crystallinity of the copolymer decrease with incresing of o-CH3-DPODPS content. The solubility of the copolymers were changed greatly.4. A series of poly(aryl ether sufone ether ketone ketone) containing meta-phenyl links and methyl pendant group were prepared by electrophilic polycondensation of 2,2' -Dimethyl-4,4' -Diphenoxydiphenylsulfone (o-CH3-DPODPS), terephthaloyl choride(TPC) and Isophthaloyl (IPC) in 1,2-dichloroethane and in the presence of A1C13 and DMF.DSC, TGA and WAXD etc.were used to study the polymers .The results shows that the copolymers are non-crystalline and have excellent thermostabilities and good solubilities.The glass transition temperature of the polymers increses with the increasing of TPC content.They were comparable with PESEKK and PEKK of some characterises.5. A series of tetrepolymers with methyl pendant were prepared from 2,2 ' -Dimethyl - 4,4 ' -Diphenoxydiphenylsulfone (o-CH3-DPODPS) , diphenyl ether (DPE), terephthaloyl chloride (TPC) and Isophthaloyl (IPC) by electrophilic copolycondensation in the presence of aluminum chloride , 1,2-dichloroethane and N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF).The copolymers were studied by FT-IR,DSC,WAXD and TGA.The results showed that the copolymers exhibit higher glass transition temperature (Tg) and lower Tm than PEKEKK, the copolymers display good heat-resistance and solvent-resistance.6. Four novel methyl-subsituted poly(aryl ether ketone )s were prepared by electrophilic polymerization of 2,2 ' -Dimethyl-4,4 ' -Diphenoxydiphenylketone(Me-DPOBP) or l,4-[4-(2-Methylphenoxy)-benzoyl]-benzene(Me-DPOTPK) and Tereph--thaloyl(TPC) or Isophthaloyl(IPC) in 1,2-dichloroethane and in the precence of DMF with A1C13 as catalyst,The prepared polymers were studied by means of FT-IR , 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DSC, TGA and WAXD etc..The results shows that the Tgs of polymers were between in 156-170C.The four polymers exhibit a high thermal stability ,good crystallinity and excellent chemical-resistance.7.
