1. A reactive silicate monomer dimethybis(phenylmethyl)lsilane(DMDPMS) was prepared by dichlorodimethylsilane and benzyl chloride, in the present of Mg, and was analyzed and identified by FT-IR,1H NMR,(13)C NMR and melting-point, with yield of 66.1%,. The effect of the process, solution and concentration on the purity and productivities of the product was studied, which results show that the "novel process" was better for the preparation of DMDPMS, whose melting point was 57-58℃, compared with normal process .2. A novel series of random copolymers composed of poly(aryl silicon ketone ketone) were prepared by low temperature solution polycondensation of dimethyldiphenylmethylsiliane(DMDPMS), isophthalyl(IPC) and terephthalyl chloride(TPC) in 1,2-dichloroethane(DCE) with the presence of AlCl3 and I-Methylpyrrolidine(NMP). The copolymers were characterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR, DSC, XRD, TGA, etc. The results show that higher glass transition temperature compared with silicon resin, and good thermalstability. The copolymers were soluble in DMAC, DMSO, DMF, DCE et al, which is good for process by casting orsmearing.3. PSiKK /PESEKK copolymers of high molecular weight have been synthesis by solution polycondensation of 4,4'-diphenoxydiphenyl sulfone, dimethylbis(phenylmethyl)silane and terephthaloyl chloride in a catalyst/solvent system of AlCl3/ClCH2CH2Cl/NMP/CaCl2. The copolymers have been characterized by FT-IR, WAXD, DSC. The results indicate that the copolymers exhibit excellent heat-resistance ability. Raising PESEKK content in the copolymer increases the Tg and Tm of the polymer, compared with PEEK, the polymers have excellent solubility and lower melting temperature and higher Tg, which will be better for process.4. A novel series of random copolymers poly(aryl ether ether ketone metaketone)(PEEKmK), containing silicon on the backbone, were prepared by low temperature solution polycondensation of 4,4'-diphenoxydiphene (DPOP), and isophthalyi chloride(IPC) in 1,2-dichloroethane with the presence of AlCl3 and DMF. The copolymer were characterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR, DSC, XRD, TGA, etc., and studied on their solubility, heat-resisting ability, and crystal ability. The results show that the glass transition temperatures, melting point and decomposing-temperature were, on the whole, decreased, with the increasing ratio of DMDPMS/ DPOP, while their solubility increase. The thermal decompose temperature and glass transition temperature of the random copolymers reached such high as 501℃, 148℃ respectively, when the ratio of DMDPMS/DPOP within 10 percent. An interesting phenomenon was found that the crystal ability of the random copolymers increased, in a small rang, with the increasing ratio of DMDPMS/DPOP, while decreased in a large amount of containing of DMDPMS in the backbone.5.
