The Development And The Key Technology Of The Capp System For Gear Blanks

The entire structure of the CAPP system for flashless forging of gear blanks is widely studied from the input of the information, to the establishment of the technologic databases and the development of the user interfaces. The forging drawings and the forging procedure card are created by AutoCAD ActiveX technology. The databases related with the forgings are managed by Microsoft Access. The user interfaces are designed by VBA language.The CAPP system is developed on the basis of Windows, which takes AutoCAD 2000 as pattern supporting software, and VBA embedded in AutoCAD 2000 as developing tool. The forging parameters can be modified and confirmed in the systeminteractively, also forging drawings can be displayed according to the parameters.The thesis carries through a quite perfect research on the technique design of the CAPP system, and establishes a foundation for its die design. The application of the system will optimize the process plan, improve the standardization and unification, cut down design time of the process plan, and increase profit of the enterprise ultimately.
