The ecosystem of the west innermongolia has degraded by the effect of heavy metal and drought. Nobody has used the technology of mycorrhizal to restore it. Based on the survey of ectomycorrhizal in Daqingshan, we got different strains of Suillus bovinus grown in different environment from there. Then we used them to study the tolerance and absorption of Zn and Cd though solid agar culture and liquid culture without agitation. The result is that PS.g is superior to others on tolerance to Zn and Cd. A experiment was also carry out to investigate the effect of inoculation of different strains of Suillus bovinus on the tolerance and absorption to Zn and Cd. Inoculationed different strains of Suillus bovinus on pinus tabulaeformis Carr. were all enthance them to tolerance Cd and Zn ,make pinus tabulaeformis Carr. grow faster than that was not, and make them absorb more quantity of Zn, Cd obviously. The effect of PS.g is more obvious than others. The paper provide the science base to make clever of the mechanism of the restoration of heavy metal by ectomycorrhizal and restore heavy metal and build up good ecosystem.
