Study On Chemical Components From Gentiana Apiata

The chemical constituents of the Gentiana apiata N.E.Br. have been protested systematically by means of tube-test. It is found that the Gentiana apiata N.E.Br. contain carbohydrates, iridoids and secoiridoids, flavonoids, coumarins, alkaloids, phytosterols and terpenoids, organic acides, Volatile oils, etc.From the whole herb of Gentiana apiata N.E.Br., eight compounds were isolated by means of soivent extraction,colum chromatography,Sephedex LH-20 and Multiple crystallization.Among them five compounds' chemical structures were elucidated as follows: gentiopicrin (II), iso-marianin(V), Asystasioside A(VI), isoorientin(VII) and D-(+)-sucrose(VIII), in which compound V and VIIIare isolated from Gentiana apiata N.E.Br. firstly.
