The wetland has significant function for mankind of storing floodwater,fight drought, complement groundwater ,adjust climate, prevent soil corrade ,reduce environmental pollution .because it has abundant natural resources,special ecological environmental and structure.The countries all over the world strength on protecting wetland,taking on any masures to prevent the wetland degeneration and disappearance. Studies on the restoration and reconstruction of disturbed wetland become the hotspot of world environmental study.Phragrmites australis is the common helophyte species of wetland,can grow along the marsh and riparian environments,even can survive in high salinity habitats. Phragrmites australis has the effect of weakening wind ,increasing temperature,adjusting humidity,purifying atmosphere,and improving region environment,balancing ecology,regulating climate etc.It takes on important significance of protecting and improving the Beston Lake environment.Combining present ecology,researching the main environmental factors affect the growth of Phragmite australis.Studies indicate it's vaporing capacity lessening than free surface,reducing the salinity of water body and purifying the water body.Protecting Phragmite australis vegetation,using it to improve the ecology of the Beston Lake has an evident and permanent benefit.The thesis chooses the reasonable sampling site according to the different distribution of Phragmite australis,and combing the simulation experiment. Observing it's growing state,above ground biomass and below ground biomass,the number of internode and the length of stem,morphological response and the distribution on shorelines.To measure it's biological,hydrological,chemical index,to study it's correlative relation to the growth of Phragmite australis.The result throwing out:the growth of Phragmite australis has the remarkable relation to salinity,submergence,nutrition etc.environmental factors.The higher salinity the decreased biomass,can consider Phragmite australis is a kind of pseudohalophyte.The growth in freshwater is better than in any salinity conditions.Phragmite australis is a kind of helophyte,the submergence and the ground water depth have effect on the growth.Partial submergence treatments (50-80%)benefit to the growth.Total submergence largely decreased biomass production and growth in length,with less effect on shoot numbers.Increased elongation of the growing internodes of up to 140% is caused by submergence.Nutrient such as N,P,K do significantly affect on growth.No mater lack of any element will decrease the biomass,the result same as the oligotrophic conditions.But lack of phosphorus is the worst mater.Firstly,establish the ecological environmental protect strip around the lake,efficiently deal with the farmland drainage.Using the pump station at the end of gutter pumps water to irrigate reed wetland.To practice man-made raising reedland.Using biology to clean up water to reduce salinity,nitrogen and phosphorus.To desalt the Beston Lake water.Strengthening produce and management of reedland.The study is provided with special applicability and integration,considering all the index of affecting the growth of reed.At the same time it is also the practice guidence for the construction of man-made wetlands.
