This paper researches on the uniform color space based on Munsell Renovation Data. A uniform color space means when there are the same differences in vision , there should have the same distances in the space. It provides a standard for precise color reproduction. Due to the Dataset , it checks the bad uniformity of the CIE1976L*a*b* color space and establishes a new uniform color space by the three layer BP neural network., which can simulate the three main transport layers of the human retina. It comes out being MGh color space which has three vectors h (hue angle),G(Chroma), M(Value) ,(h and G forming a polar coordinates) after the input data and the output data have been trained well. It evaluates the uniformity of the MGh color space by three methods ,vision, color difference and parameter of PF/3 . Firstly, the worst difference between the hue angle in the MGh is smaller 70 than the one in the CIE1976L*a*b* 's, and the ratio between the longest radius and the shortest one in the same chromatic circle in the MGh is 1. 4573. It means that the uniformity of the chromatic circle in the MGh space is greatly better than the CIE1976L*a*b*'s .The results comparing the MGh with CIE1976L*a*b* in color difference and the parameter PF/3, also shows the uniformity of the MGh color space is better than the one of the CIEI976L*a*b* .The establishment of the MGh color spacefurther promotes the uniformity of surface color system .
