In this paper, oxotitanium phthalocyanine (TiOPc) was prepared from titanium tetra-n-butoxide and 1,3-diiminoisoindole. The influences of parameters including reaction time, water distributor and heating-up speed on the yield were discussed. When predried 1,3-diiminoisoindole was reacted with titanium tetra-n-butoxide for 5h with orthodichlorobenzene as solvent, the yield of TiOPc was 50.3%. Then, nanoparticles of TiOPc with the average particle size of 60nm was obtained successfully through the simple method of Liquid Phase. Vacuum freezing drying was designed and used. In addition, surfactant type and content, temperature of preparation and drying methods were optimumed. The conditions of two-step method to prepare Y-TiOPc were studied. In order to obtain better products and simplify the preparing procedure, one-step method was presented. And the experimental result showed that the needed Y-TiOPc could be obtained successfully. Crystal form and particle size of TiOPc were detected through XRD spectra and particle size analyzer respectively. Analysis results revealed that Y-TiOPc with average particle size of 130nm was prepared. At last, the photoconductivity of some samples was detected, and the results of characteristics evaluation revealed that superfine Y-TiOPc is excellent photoelectric material.
