The Research Of The Application Of Concession In Sanitation Industry Of Our Country

Sanitation industry reformation is a global tendency. As well known, the sanitation industry has the character of nature monopoly. Furthermore, the long history of under the administration of planned economy system makes the sanitation of China form the character of political monopoly. To a great degree, these characters have blocked the healthy development of the sanitation industry. As a result, the reformation of sanitation industry is essential.Concession as an effective means of the sanitation industry reformation has had a long history in other countries, but is still a fresh thing in China.How to make full use of concession to promote the reformation of sanitation industry is the main concern of this paper. In the first part of this paper, the author introduces the scope of this paper and explains the related concepts and the backgrounds. In the second, the author makes an analysis of the disadvantages of current administrative system of our sanitation industry and then summarizes the performances of concession application in sanitation industry in detail. In the third, based on many practical cases, the problems occurred in the concession application in sanitation reformation are listed and the reasons are discussed from both government and investor views. In the last part, according to the analysis of the problems, some practical suggestions are provided from four aspects to improve effectiveness in concession application.
