Research On The Electric Upsetting Machine And The Automatic Feeding Control System

The electric upsetting machine which is used manufacturing the valve, have huge application demand. But the automatic level of the traditional electric upsetting machine is very low. And the traditional electric upsetting machine has many problems. Based on investigating and technical testing,this paper researched and designed the automatic system of the electric upsetting machine and the automatic feeding device. It is the first time to use the intelligent control theory in electric upsetting.Based on the principle of the traditional electric upsetting machine, author has analyzed the problems and disadvantages of the traditional electric upsetting machine and has putted forward the demand of the machine and the technical parameter. Then author introduced the total system of the electric upsetting machine in brief, including the mechanical system,the heating system,automatic system and the automatic feeding device. We canceled the structure of hydraulic pressure and adopted the structure of hermetic urn, which raveled out the problems such as leaking oil, leaking water, bad condition and so on。The types of the automatic feeding device included the curly work piece automatic feeding device, clubbed work piece automatic feeding device, single work piece automatic feeding device. And the single work piece automatic feeding device was divided into the hopper automatic feeding device and the storage automatic feeding device. Based on analyzing the demand of the control system, author selected the hopper automatic feeding device and designed the automatic feeding device which was based on the PLC. The author introduced and analyzed the hardware and the software of the automatic feeding device, including the buildup of control system, the I/O connection of system and the flow of the program.The control system of the electric upsetting machine was based on a PC and universal control cards. The kernel of the system was blocking software. Author adopted the open-bus structure as the total structure of the system. Due to the elements and characteristic of electric upsetting, author has completed a lot of technical testing and has analyzed the technical parameter in the testing. Author has analyzed the reason of unqualified product and has putted forward the control strategies of the technical parameter.
