In general, the measurement data in processes often have many errors in various degree. The data with errors can't meet the balance of materials and energy of process units and other constraints. Through process scheduling and decisions, based on these data, the process will certainly be difficult to realize steady optimization and operation. The more serious fact is it will bring losses to production and management of enterprises. So it is necessary to correct these data of the measurement. Meanwhile, in petrochemical enterprises, materials balance is the basis of other business in petrochemical enterprise, such as production statistics, production schedules and optimize and financial affairs.What this thesis explains is the whole factory materials balance system with data reconciliation technology. By using process mechanism, statistical methods, the redundancy in measurements and process models, the materials balance system can eliminate gross error among measurements, reduce random measurement errors and estimate unmeasured variables. The problem of the inaccuracy, inconsistency and no-integrality in data of industrial production process can be solved. Thus the materials balance system can refine the data in processes into unanimous reliable high-quality information for production management business and offers the solid foundation for control, optimizing and planning.At present, the projects on the whole factory materials balance with data reconciliation technology are fewer in industry. This thesis takes one the whole factory materials balance project having been put into effect as an instance to explain how to carry out a project of materials balance. The main ideas in this thesis are listed as follows:1. The system structure of CIMS in petrochemical industry was analyzed. The key positions of MES and data in CIMS was emphasized.2. The sources of the error of the data and measurement variable analysis. The principles of sensor network redundancy analysis in industrial process were discussed The principles of gross error detection and data reconciliation in static linear systems were introduced.3. Some key technologies of a petrochemical enterprise materials balance with data reconciliation as role was be introduced, including mass balance models, system structure, data integration and reconciliation tactics, etc. The uses of data reconciliation were introduced.4. A project about the materials balance system with data reconciliation was cited an example for explaining the process of carrying out such a project in detail.5. Some difficulties, keys and precautions were summarized. The author's experiences about project were introduced.This thesis offered a better case analysis and experience in carrying out a data reconciliation system.
