In long distance slurry pipeline transport project, in order to guarantee pipeline's security, often need to confirm accurately the critical speed that does not make the pipe chock, we name it deposit velocity. Up till now, a lot of experts and scholars have carried on research to this respect, but its achievement is mostly experience formulae drawn to the specific condition , the commonability is not strong. On the basis of research results of the existing experts and scholars especially the theory put forward by professor Xu zhenliang (my tutor): the model when solid particle transport in the condition of slip or jump in the horizontal pipeline, combine with ground floor solid starting terms of particle , then get the formula of deposit velocity by approach method . At last related data have been used to verify the the deprived formulae And it turn out that calculating results accord with actual results, so the formulae can serve as helpful reference for operating and designing in this field.
