In slurry pipeline transport project,horizontal pipeline take the great part,but slope and vertical pipeline are also play the great important part in project,the problem that oceanic mining belong to the vertical pipeline or to the slope pipeline. In practice project we often need to calculate Friction Loss of Settling Slurry in Inclined Pipeline,but in the Friction Loss problem must refer to the coefficientφ(θ)of added resistance ,but up to now ,the research about this aspect is not much. On the basis of research results of the existing experts scholars,In this paper we make a curve that show veriety betweenφ(θ)andθwith lots of experimental datas,and then we will get the vertical pipeline φ(θ)naturel.through examining, in some extend ,theory result of calculation accord with surveying data,so the formulae can serve as helpful reference for operating and designing.
