The Composition And Property's Research About Copperizing Technology

Copperized stainless steel is a new functional material, which possesses both stainless steel'characterisic and anti-microbial feature. In this paper, the best copperizing prescription and process are formulated. In addition, the copperized stainless steel'properties — mechanical properties, anti-microbial properties and anti-corrosion so on are tested. Finally,the conclusions are drew that the best copperized prescription is 75%CuO+7%Al2O3+18%Na3AlF6,and the best copperizing process is 900℃×8h.when all these are completed, the samples are cooled in the heating furnace until its temperature reach 25℃.In the end, the experience shows that the surface hardness of the copperized stainless steel is supper to its interior. What is more, the copperized stainless steel possesses excellent anti-microbial properties and it can even kill all microbial on the copperized stainless steel. In addition, the copperized possesses excellent anti-corrosion in some solution of low consistency. However compared with the anti-corrosion of stainless steel, that of copperized stainless steel is slightly inferior, and the difference is even negligible.
