The in-situ stress is essentially force which arousing the mining engineering surrounding rock and shelters deformation and damage and mine dynamic phenomenon. The in-situ stress is the most significant and fundamental element, which arouse the mining engineering stabilities elements. The kind of the in-situ stress and the earth's crust stress action feature should be mastered to take precautions against the mine dynamic phenomenon reasonably and effectively and arrange stope layout and extracting order, etc. Moreover, shape of tunnel and sheltering, also have the intimate relationship with the in-situ stress.The recent research about crustal stress (field) was summed up in this paper, After analyzing some problems unsolved up to now, proposing "tectonic framework (area constitutes and part constitutes) and Lithologic character distribution and the border mechanics environment" are the main elements that affect the stress state. The active tectonics haves the control action, and the Lithologic character distribution haves the significant effect. Geological structure model and is built through different classes active faults that are determined by Geodynamic zoning; Lithologic character distribution model and in-situ stress measurement and rock mechanics testing study. The stress field is calculated by the numerical method to guide the mining practice.
