| Stamping-die, which belongs to short period and much variety product catalogues, is one of the important machining equipments for modern industrial products. The speedup of industrial products update has put forward high request to the designing quality and efficiency of stamping die, so it is an inevitable trend to adopt CAD technology in designing stamping die according to its different characteristic in variant application fields.This thesis deals with the research and development of stamping die 3D CAD system of Railway Carriage Parts. First, on the base of analysis of the content and characteristic of stamping die design, a functional model of stamping die CAD system based on IDEFO is built; and then, the stamping die CAD system architecture with software components and their interface bus is generated. The whole system includes four models: workpiece information processing module, craft quality analysis and calculating module, stamping die function-structure design module and associated modification module.Stamping die function-structure design module and associated modification module are the emphasies in this thesis. The stamping die associated design based on hierarchical function-structure model is put forward on the basis of the analysis and class of die structure design. Together with the die design data information database, the stamping die CAD system completely associated design model is built on the platform of 3D feature modelling software-SolidWorks. The model supports intelligent associated modification. That is, when one part of the die is modified, others associated will be changed as assocaiation expected. Using this approach, we can design a new die. The stamping die whole structure model with searching information is built for the convenience and rapid of searching the model database.According to the practical need, the 3D standard part database system based on three-tier C/S is developed by using the parameter driven theory. The data tier and application tier are relatively independent, namely, the other program will not be modified when one of the data tier and application tier program has been changed.Finally, the system posesses an open structure, and is easily to be extended and maintained. It has applied in Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., and makes the design efficiency raise by 3~6 times. |
