Circular diamond saw-blade is one of main stones machining tools. Its property mostly affects the quality of machining stone and the life of the saw-blade. Saw-Blade is tend to be axial distortion because of its large ratio of radius compare with thick. And that the axial-distortion plays an important role in determining the property of saw-blade. So it is usually measured its axial-distortion before machining stones to prepare for tension pretreatment in industry. But the automation degree of the industry is still lower at present time in our country. People do this work just only by eyeballing and hand. So it is a significant task to design and develop an automatic system in measuring the distortion of saw-blade.Firstly, the thesis brings forward a system resolve scheme based on MCU, and carries it out. On the base of summarizing the MCU system, the thesis brings forward a system resolve scheme which based on PCI-BUS, and makes a detail reasoning of it's feasibility.The aim of hardware development is to design and make a PCI data acquisition card, including distortion-data acquisition, angle-data acquisition and interface of PCI-Bus. We use an eddy current sensor to acquire the distortion data, use MAX151 to do ADC after adjusting the sensor's signal. A stepping motor is to be used to drive the saw-blade and divide the saw-blade. We use a HALL-IC, US5881 to provide the zero-line signal of the saw-blade. PCI9052 is used as an interface of the system.The software design includes drive program development and application program development. We use WinDriver to development WDM drive program of the PCI data acquisition card. And use Visual Basic to development system application program.The result of examination indicates that the design of whole system is reasonable and reliable, measures a saw-blade easily and rapidly. The automatic degree of measuring is improved greatly. The anticipative aim of design is basically achieved.
