Leather was a very important chemical raw material.It was widely used in clothing, footwear, textile and industrial fields.The quality of leather depended on the the strength of the fiber. In order to avoid producing adulteration of unqualified leather fibre, the raw materials need for early detection. Fiber tensile strength was an important technical indicators detected, For characterizing the quality of leather fibre was critical.So,the purpose of the topic was for development of the fiber tensile testing device on,combing with the practical application sample of the Pigskin fiber, Through a large number of experimental exploring out a practical and effective method, provideing technical reference for our country’s fiber chemical production.The fiber used in this subject was not processed natural fiber, Size slender and short,and had certain discrete degrees, Aiming at these characteristics, Designed specialized carrier and clamping device, Easy and convenient. In the drawing process the magnitude of changes of the fiber strength were usually small,it was hard for accurate measurement.So according to the amplifier,including semiconductor strain gauges and precision instrumentation amplifier,can convert the milivolt level voltage into a 5V voltage within the common,and before measurement in fiber tensile,through its calibration,can determine the fiber tension and the corresponding relationship between voltage,the value of the fiber tensile can be drawn.Besides,the introduction of stepper motor can solve the problem of high-precision、micro-step and position. The whole platform through the data acquisition card with PC to realize data acquisition and the record. Software design used a visual interface of VC programming, Platform can be divided into stepping motor control module and data acquisition and record module.Adopting high precision timing,Teechart controls,calibration of core technology, Tension value by using computer control data sampling card reader into memory,And thus realized the fiber tensile measurement.According to serveral experiment test,the result showed that this experiment platform operation was stable and reliable, Detection accuracy was higher,it had certain practicality and popularize value.
